Facing the sea, reaching for the sky, M⁹⁹ stands as the new symbol of Marseille’s momentum in the first half of the 21st century. There was an urgency, then, to imagine an architecture, an urban vision that could embody this vitality. Just as we did in the 1990s, when Miami reinvented itself with 1500 Ocean Drive. Just as we did in the early 2000s with 49 Stevenson, part of San Francisco’s downtown renewal. And so M⁹⁹ was born — the natural evolution of the original project, H99, conceived in the mid-2000s when only a visionary like Marc Pietri could hear the whisper of Marseille’s renewal.
White, in homage to the city’s limestone textures, and rising 99 meters high, M⁹⁹ redefines the relationship between sky and sea — a relationship meant to be lived. Because M⁹⁹ is not just a tower, but a place designed for life. It offers a new way of living in Marseille and with Marseille.
